Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Professional wrestling will be making its return to the Bank of Springfield Center later this summer.

According to BOS Center officials, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will be at the center Thursday, July 30, starting at 6:30 p.m.  It will be part of WWE’s “Summer Tour.”  It’s not expected to be part of any television taping.

Center officials say ticket sales will start Wednesday, May 20, at 10am, and will be through Ticketmaster or the BOS Center Box Office.  Prices will start at $50.

It’s not yet clear which of the WWE “superstars,” as they’re called, will be in attendance.
