Two Springfield men arrested, and multiple types of drugs seized by SPD

Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) -Springfield police seized drugs and guns after executing a search warrant in the 800 block of South 25th Street Thursday. Heroin, fentanyl, crack cocaine, cannabis and methamphetamine were all located in the home.

35-year-old Demarco Johnson of Springfield was arrested for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and cocaine. At the time of the arrest, SPD reports Johnson was out on bond on drug and other charges. 28-year-old Richard Simms III of Springfield was also arrested. He faces charges for manufacture and delivery of heroin and cocaine. Both are in custody at the Sangamon County Jail
