Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – After a big Radiothon and a bigger opportunity for the patients at HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital to get Christmas presents thanks to donors, does that mean the St. John’s Foundation gets to take a break?

Not really.

“The foundation really helps make everything the hospital does great, exceptional,” said Ali Farmer, director.  “We get to take things to the next level.  We’re always looking for donations, especially in our children’s hospital.  We have a 56-bed NICU here, filled with little babies and families that need even just a small food donation that goes a long way.”

Farmer says the hospital’s website is the easiest way to donate.

“We’re always looking for donors and community partnerships to make things happen here at the children’s hospital,” said Farmer.
