Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon has confirmed the death of a 37-year-old Springfield woman after a vehicle crash Tuesday evening along West Washington Street.

She’s identified as Kendra Kittrell, who was pronounced dead at 6pm just after being transported to Springfield Memorial Hospital.

An autopsy Wednesday showed Kittrell died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate.
