Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – There will be an official soft opening of the SCHEELS Sports Park at Legacy Pointe on Friday, December 12.

The soft opening will be in conjunction with the Midwest Open Indoor Archery Tournament and admission to the event will be free to the public for the full weekend.

If you have been eager to see what’s inside of the dome at the new SCHEELS Sports Park, then you do not want to miss this event that is said to be “Spectacular” for the whole family.

General Manager of the sports park, Brandon Doherty, in a press release sent out by SCHEELS said “We talk about bringing people together and this fair and archery tournament is exactly that. It’s about our community, our families and creating a place where we show up for each other. This is more than an event. It’s a celebration of who we are when we come together.”
