Missouri double murder suspect found dead in Decatur

Decatur, IL (WAND) – A Missouri double murder suspect was found dead in Decatur Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that it was working with the Decatur Police Department to arrest 48-year-old Ryan Munson.

Munson was wanted on two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of 49-year-old Donald Horine and 46-year-old Bobbie Munson in rural Carroll County, Missouri, on Sunday.

According to MSHP, it received information that Munson was hiding in an RV parked at a home in the 700 block of North 33rd Street.

MSHP said that Munson was found dead inside the RV after he had apparently shot himself.

WAND News reached out to Decatur police, which did not share any more information.
