(CAPITOL CITY NOW)Submitted by Chatham police:

The Chatham Police Department is actively seeking to find 22 yr old Nathaniel Urbanski.

Nathaniel was last seen around 3am early Tuesday morning (9/30) in the 100 block of Buckingham Drive in Chatham.  He was last seen wearing a dark red and brown flannel shirt with blue jeans.

His last known cell phone location data shows it was in the field area north of Glenwood High School, East of Piper Glen subdivision, and West of Iron Bridge Road.

We have continued to check this cell phone location since Nathaniel was first reported missing, and the location has not changed as of 8am on Wednesday 10/1, which is the last cell phone location data we received.  We have continued to ping his phone but are no longer receiving any new location data.  We believe at this point his cell phone was either turned off or the battery has died.

Nathaniel has special needs and he is a very kind, loving, and gentle soul.  We have absolutely no reason to believe he would be a threat or harm to anyone that encountered him.

So far, we have used drones, an airplane, police canines, and police officers in vehicles and on foot in our attempts to locate Nathaniel.

We have called in some other agencies for help, and we are coordinating our efforts with them as a unified front here.

Today marks Day 3 of Nathaniel’s disappearance, and we are continuing our search efforts for him today.
