Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Introducing Stewart, the Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week.

Stewart is a good boy who came to Sangamon County Animal Control as the result of a cruelty confiscation in November. He’s three years old and is, unfortunately, one of our longest residents. After a rough start, this handsome young dog is looking for a family to make him their own and give him a fresh start in life.

You can meet Stewart and all of the other adoptable dogs at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center during shelter hours: Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
