Meet Pablo — APL Cat of the Week

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Pablo is a 7-year-old black and white domestic shorthair with a gentle heart and a quiet charm.

He’s a very sweet boy, but he takes his time warming up to new people and unfamiliar environments. With patience, kindness, and a calm space, Pablo begins to open up and show his affectionate side. He would do best in a peaceful home with someone who understands that trust takes time. Once he feels safe, Pablo will be a loyal and loving companion who’s well worth the wait. Come meet him at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We’re open every day from noon to 5 p.m.

He has feline leukemia, which means he has a shorter life expectancy than most cats. He is available for our permanent foster program, where you provide the home and the love, and APL provides his medical care.
