Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are filled to capacity and more dogs that need care arrive daily. If you’re thinking about adding a new best friend to your family it’s a great time to come out to meet our dogs.
Our Dog of the Week is a two year old Lab mix who has been waiting since May to start a new life with his new family. Link is everything you want in a young Lab. He’s active, energetic and friendly. He gets along with other dogs and has done well in play groups. If you have an active lifestyle Link could be the guy for you. He’s available for foster, foster to adopt and adoption.
Come on out and meet Link and all of the other good dogs who are eager to go home and be part of a family. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
