Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center continue to be filled to capacity. So many wonderful dogs are waiting to meet their new families and start a new life. Every adoption or foster opens kennel space for the new dogs that arrive every day. If you’re looking for a new best friend please come out to meet them.

Introducing Glitch, our Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week. Glitch is a very handsome one year old male who arrived at SCAC as a stray on April 1st. Our volunteers say Glitch is super sweet. He’s easy to walk on a leash. This playful boy just wants to be loved. He’s going to be a great companion for anyone who is looking for a new bestie for summer fun. Glitch is available for foster and adoption.

You can meet Glitch and all of the other dogs during shelter hours Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
