Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Our Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week is a lovely dog who is unfortunately at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center for the second time. It’s time for this girl to find a family who will lover her forever.

Galinda is two years old and she’s a big strong girl. She’s a very sweet girl who loves being petted and receiving and giving affection. She pays close attention to her human friends while out for walks. Galinda was adopted last year but did not get along with another dog that was brought into the home. As always we recommend a meet and greet if you have any other dogs and a slow and careful introduction into the home.

Galinda is another good dog who is waiting for a fresh start at a good life with a family who will love her. She has so much to give the right adopters. Galinda is available for foster or adoption.

If you would like to meet Galinda and the other pets available for foster or adoption at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center, please come out during shelter hours Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
