(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Gov. JB Pritzker Tuesday met with representatives of immigrant groups in Chicago and said afterward they spoke of fear – fear of even taking their children to school.

Pritzker batted down a reporter’s question about capitulating to President Trump’s plea for Pritzker to call him to ask for help, then added, “This is no joke,” Pritzker added. “Donald Trump is doing something that is not normal, and we should not accept it in this country. It’s un-American. It’s anti-American what Donald Trump is doing.”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are now in Chicago, but it’s unclear when – or whether – the President will send in the National Guard.
