Decatur, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – A Decatur man is jailed, accused of creating child pornography using artificial intelligence, and of sexually assaulting a girl.

Our news partners at WAND-TV report Kevin Horve, 45, was originally arrested back in June, after child porn images were allegedly found on his computer and were determined to be made with artificial intelligence.

But now Horve also faces charges of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault and Grooming, after a victim told police Horve assaulted her at least once a week for a while when she was fourteen.

Authorities say one of the videos was of Horve assaulting the girl while blindfolded.

Horve will be back in court September third.
