Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon has released the name of the 60-year-old woman who passed away following a motor vehicle accident on Saturday night along Illinois State Route 97 in Menard County.

Marjorie Hinds, of Petersburg, was transported from the scene by EMS and was pronounced deceased at Springfield Memorial Hospital at 10:52pm on May 11. An autopsy was done Monday, and preliminary findings show that she died of multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.
