Beni Harmony: WICS is trying to silence me

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – We haven’t heard the last of Beni Harmony, said Beni Harmony.

Harmony, who until a few days ago hosted Marketplace on WICS, said via social media this week that her former employer is trying to prevent her from telling her story to other media. She used part of her program – the last one she would do for WICS, as it would turn out – for a tearful tribute to Charlie Kirk, the conservative speaker assassinated last week.

Harmony said she used to work for Turning Points USA, where Kirk was her first boss. Now that she no longer works there, she recorded a social media video this week in which she said “WICS is not what you think it is, and I’m ready to expose it all.”
