LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — Chicago Bears right guard Jonah Jackson is moving in a positive direction as he tries to play in Thursday night’s game against the New England Patriots.

Jackson left Sunday’s 31-23 win at Atlanta. He had a did-not-practice designation on Monday and was listed as limited on Tuesday with hip and quadriceps injuries. The Bears conducted walkthroughs on each day, so the participation on each injury report was an estimate.

The 29-year-old Jackson is a key player for Chicago. The Bears often run behind Jackson and right tackle Darnell Wright.

Running back Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) and linebackers T.J. Edwards (hamstring) and Jack Sanborn (concussion) were listed as did not practice on each day.

Monangai has been sidelined since he rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-12 victory over the New York Jets on Oct. 4.
