SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – We have brought you three stories in the past few weeks about Ald. Jennifer Notariano‘s (pictured) desire for the city to purchase a software program to address police officers’ mental health. Those stories posted Oct. 14 and Oct. 21. Monday, Oct. 26, we posted a story in which a union leader, David Amerson, criticized the software program – and Notariano, too.

Monday afternoon, Notariano sent us a link to the University of Chicago study which is the basis for most of her case for the mental health program, which she wants the city to buy in lieu of a tenth police car. That study is here.
