A Springfield teenager has been charged by a Sangamon County grand jury with the shooting death of his younger brother.

Juan Kincade, 18, has pleaded not guilty to three counts of First-Degree Murder and one count of Theft, and could go to trial as soon as September 28th.

Kincade is accused of shooting his brother Juwan, 17, in the head late last month near their home on South 23rd Street.  Prosecutors believe Juan Kincade was after his brother’s shoes and money.

He’s jailed in Sangamon County on $2,000,000 bond.
