Mt. Auburn Woman Dies in Car Crash

A Mt. Auburn woman is dead following a two car crash in rural Christian County.

Sheriff Bruce Kettlekamp says Beverly Gideon, 74, didn’t yield at the intersection of County Road 1900 east and County Road 2600 North, northwest of Blue Mound.

Aaron Frieden, 26, of Blue Mound hit Gideon, ejecting her from the car. She wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

Frieden was taken to Memorial Medical Center with critical injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
