A central Illinois woman has pleaded guilty and is sentenced to 50 years in prison in connection with the 2011 killings of two women in Harristown and the wounding of a third.

Katrina Giles entered the plea to one count of first-degree murder as her trial was about to begin. Her brother, Timothy Giles, is serving a life sentence after pleading guilty to the murders earlier this year.

The two admitted to the stabbing and shooting deaths Cindanette Eaton, 57, and her daughter Lindsey, 23, at their Harristown home. Cindanette Eaton’s other daughter Casey was injured.
