Layoffs Coming to HSHS Physician Groups

Layoffs are coming to Hospital Sisters Health Systems facilities in Illinois and Wisconsin.

HSHS officials said Tuesday they’ll be cutting 10 percent of their workforce.

They told our news partners at WAND-TV the cuts are a result of a drop in patient visits from the COVID-19 outbreak.

Two of those facilities are located in Central Illinois, Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants and HSHS Medical Group.
