The Illinois Department of Public Health is offering free HEPA air purifiers to licensed daycare centers across the state.

More than 20,000 air purifiers are available to help clean the air and reduce the spread of viruses, says public health’s Charles Williams.

The program is open to day care centers outside of Chicago that are licensed by the state and include a 3-year supply of filters. The deadline to apply is July 31st.
