Denton-McCaster “Dismemberment” Murder Trial Continues

Testimony continued into a second day in the trial of a woman accused of murdering and dismembering her husband.

Dr. Scott Denton, a pathologist who performed the autopsy of Norman McCaster, says he could not determine the cause of death because the only evidence he had to work with was McCaster’s torso.

Juatasha Denton-McCaster is accused of killing her husband and dumping his body near rural Mechanicsburg in October 2012.  His hands, feet and, head have not been found. Denton testified the dismemberment is consistent with the use of a reciprocal saw.  A Wal-mart receipt was found near the body showing the saw had been purchased there.

The jury is expected to get the case next week.
