Snow Emergency extended for Springfield

Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) The City of Springfield has extended the Snow Emergency for designated snow routes (see map below).  The declaration has been extended to 12 p.m. Tuesday. 

Residents are required to remove all parked vehicles and avoid parking on designated snow emergency routes to ensure road crews can efficiently clear the streets. To view the Snow Emergency Route Map and the city’s Snow and Ice Removal Policy, visit www.springfield.il.us/snow.
