Meet Midas — Friends of SCAC Dog of the Week

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Sometimes we just don’t understand why some dogs take a long time to get adopted even though they’re really wonderful dogs. Midas is a perfect example.

Midas is one of our long timers at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center. This two year old boy has been living in a kennel since May. Midas is so handsome and friendly. He was at an off-site event on Saturday and he was so well behaved. He was happy to be out meeting people and spreading happiness. It’s obvious Midas had someone who loved him at one time because he knows basic commands like sit and down.  After meeting people at the off-site he was happy to lay down in the shade and relax. This boy is going to be a wonderful companion for the person who gives him a loving home.

Please come out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center to meet Midas and the other adoptable dogs. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.

SPECIAL TAIL END OF SUMMER ADOPTION PRICES THRU SEPTEMBER 30. ALL DOGS AND CATS $25!!! Meet your new best friend now!
