Meet Marsha — Friends of SCAC Dog of the Week

Marsha Photo: Sangamon County/Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week is another of our long timers and we just don’t know why.

Marsha is a good girl who has been waiting since February to meet her new family. This girl is a volunteer favorite. She’s about 1 1/2 yrs old and is medium sized. Marsha walks nicely on a leash and has a sweet natured personality. She always has a smile on her face. She’s also adorable. Just look at her heart shaped nose! Marsha will be a wonderful companion but she keeps getting overlooked in the shelter.

The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are completely full. We are in need of adopters and fosters to help the dogs in our care. Will you help us out? For information about adoption or fostering, please come out to SCACAC or call 217-535-3065.

If you would like to meet Marsha please come visit her. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
