Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are full to capacity. Many very nice dogs have been waiting months to be chosen by their forever families. Our Dog of the Week is one of those dogs.

Levi is a handsome and fun loving guy who is about a year old. Unfortunately, he’s been living in a kennel since July. He’s full of energy and he loves to play. He does well playing with other dogs in the play yard and taking walks with our volunteers. This boy has been growing up in a kennel. It’s time for him start fresh in a home where he will be loved. Levi is available for adoption, foster or foster to adopt.

Please come out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center and meet Levi and all of the other adoptable pets. They can’t wait to meet you! Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
