Meet Atlas — Friends of SCAC Dog of the Week

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Our Dog of the Week is just the sweetest chill guy!

Atlas is three years old and he’s been at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center since August when he came in as a stray. Atlas is a big, strong gorgeous boy and our dog walkers say he is well behaved and easy to walk. If Atlas sounds like the kind of dog you’re looking for come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center and spend some time with him outside in the fresh air. Atlas is available for foster, foster to adopt and adoption.

The kennels in our shelter are filled to capacity. Many very nice dogs are waiting to meet their forever families. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. Dogs are available for foster, foster to adopt and adoption. FOR A LIMITED TIME THE ADOPTION FEE FOR ALL ANIMALS IS $25!
