Gibson City, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Police northeast of Springfield are looking for a man who’s accused of shooting at two law enforcement officers early Saturday morning, while naked.

Gibson City and Illinois State Police say in a news release it started just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday, when officers responded to a call of a naked man.  David Jordan, 70, is accused of shooting at Gibson City Police and Ford County Sheriff’s Deputies when they arrived at his home.

Two officers were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after the shooting, ISP says Jordan’s home ended up on fire, and his whereabouts are unknown.  Jordan, who was last seen unclothed, should be considered armed and dangerous.

State Troopes say if you see Jordan, call 911 immediately.
