Chamber seeks nominations for Small Business Awards

Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) — The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its annual Small Business Awards.

The awards honor small business owners who show outstanding performance in four categories:

Not-For-Profit Business Director of the Year
New & Emerging Business Owner of the Year
Small Business Owner of the Year
Lifetime Award – Business Owner of the Year

Anyone can nominate a business by filling out a form online. More details and the nomination link can be found on the Chamber’s website at www.gscc.org. The deadline to submit nominations is March 31.

The winners will be announced at the Small Business Awards Luncheon on June 24 at the Crowne Plaza Springfield Convention Center.

Tickets for chamber members are $50 if purchased before May 29 and $60 after. Non-members can attend for $90. Members can also sponsor a table for $675, which includes 10 seats and recognition in the event program.
