UPDATED: Dad accused in baby’s death

A Springfield man’s accused of killing his baby. The sheriff’s department says deputies were called to a home in the fifteen hundred block of North 30-th Street on a report of an unresponsive child – only two months old. EMS said Millieon Cutler was deceased and transferred his body to the coroner.

In custody is the father, 22-year-old Eric Cutler.

An autopsy on the infant was done Monday. Sangamon County Coroner Cinda Edwards says the preliminary results of the autopsy indicate multiple blunt force traumatic injuries and are consistent with a homicide.
