The top ten songs by STYX… according to me
The top ten songs by STYX… according to me

From time to time I post my top ten songs of various bands. This time it is STYX!!

10. I’m Okay

From the Pieces of Eight album. I still remember putting in my 8 track and listening to this fine track.

9. Lorelei

I’ve never known anyone named Lorelei but if I did I am certain I would have sang this song to the point of annoying them

8. Blue Collar Man

A little overrated of a song but still really good. Tommy Shaw shines on this one

7. Lights

Great song from Cornerstone

6. Babe

A lot of people hate Babe. I am not one of them. I wish I did because then I wouldnt feel the need to sing along with it every time I hear it

5. Light Up

I always play “air keyboard” to this song on the car dashboard

4. Renegade

Who hasn’t sang the first line of this song?

3. Grand Illusion

The title track from their most classic of albums

2. Crystal Ball

An almost perfect song

1. Come Sail Away

Simply the best. Not just a great Styx song but one of the all time greats. Completely original and different and if you think about it just good dumb fun classic Rock.

And the honorable mention songs…

Suite Madame Blue, Lord of the rings, Borrowed Time, First time, boat on the river, rocking the paradise, best of times, too much time on my hands, Lady and Miss America BUT DEFINITELY NOT MR ROBOTO
