Soul queen Aretha Franklin is tackling hits by Adele, Barbra Streisand, and Donna Summer on a new album of diva covers.

The “Respect” legend has teamed up with label boss Clive Davis for the as-yet-untitled project, which will include Aretha’s renditions of songs by powerful female singers.

The track list features Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” Summer’s “Last Dance,” “People” by Streisand, and Gladys Knight’s “Midnight Train to Georgia.”

Franklin is currently working on the record with top producer Babyface and Outkast star Andre 3000.

She tells the New York Daily News, “It’s wonderful, wonderful music.”

News of the new album comes week after Franklin was honored by Harvard and made a “Doctor of soul.”
